Gabrielle was elected to represent the Dandenong District at the 2014 election.
Prior to being elected to parliament, Gabrielle worked as a lawyer and a project manager at the University of Melbourne. When Gabrielle was elected, she outlined job creation and investment in local schools as key priorities. Since that time, she has advocated for and delivered a rebuild of Lyndale Seconday, completed the rebuild of Dandenong High, and delivered upgrades to local primary and secondary schools across the electroate. She is also proud to have seen the impact of State government programs including local content requirements in infrastructure projects, reducing the local unemployment rate.
Since her election, Gabrielle has worked to support locals in their day-to-day lives. She has been a proud advocate for State government initiatives including Free TAFE, Free Kinder, the $400 School Saving Bonus and the $250 Power Saving Bonus. Initiatives that put more money back into local pockets.
Outside of her work, Gabrielle is a proud mum, a fan of the Collingwood Magpies in the AFL and AFLW competitions, the number one ticket holder of the Southside Flyers in the WNBL and is a joint number one ticket holder for the Melbourne Storm.
