INVESTING IN LOCAL SCHOOLS AND LOCAL KIDS
Students at Lyndale Secondary College will benefit from a new upgrade, thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.
The $6,000,000 investment, delivered as part of the Victorian Budget 2017/18, will go towards making sure local kids get the best start in life.
With planning money provided in last year’s Budget, this funding will deliver on these plans, including the refurbishment of the performing arts and food technology areas, and upgrading the library.
The school administration centre will also be relocated as part of the project, and a new IT/media resource centre will be built to reflect 21st century learning environments.
This investment builds on the $7 million provided in the 2015/16 Budget which funded Stage 1 of the school’s rebuild.
The Labor Government is building and upgrading a record number of schools to make sure every child has every chance to succeed.
