LYNDALE SECONDARY COLLEGE UNVEILS NEW PERFORMING ARTS AND STEM BUILDINGS

Lyndale students now have bigger, better classrooms and school facilities to learn in, thanks to the Andrews Government.

Member for Dandenong, Gabrielle Williams, visited Lyndale Secondary College to officially open stage one of the school’s redevelopment, which includes a new Performing Arts building and STEM centre.

This is part of a $16.1 million investment in the school, which will also include works to deliver a new library and IT wing, a new staff administration facility and a new Technology Art facility incorporating Food Tech classrooms.

The school’s upgrade will mean teachers can deliver the 21st century education local students need to succeed.

The project is part of more than $3.8 billion invested in school infrastructure by the Andrews Government to build the Education State so that every student can access a great local school and get a first rate education.

This school building boom has delivered more than 1,300 school upgrades and 70 new school projects across the state, supporting almost 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.
